The UKITF will be conducting an umpires course on behalf of the ITF on 29 June 2024,

This course is in preparation for both National and International events. The UTA will have many competitors participating in the next selection process, aiming to represent the UK at the World Championships in 2025.

We encourage as many UTA umpires as possible to qualify and provide professional, unbiased judgment not only for our UTA competitors but also for UKITF and ITF events.

Regardless of whether you have attended an umpires course before, if you are 16 years or older and hold a 1st-degree black belt or higher, we encourage you to participate in this course, which has been significantly updated.

The course will be subsided by the UTA and will cost £30.00 or £40.00 with an umpires T shirt.

If you wish to apply for ITF Certification, the costs are as follows:

• $130 for Class B (18 years old and 1st-3rd Degree)
• $200 for Class A (20 years old and 4th Degree and above)
• Please note if you have already have a Class A or B qualification this automatically is renewed without a further cost.

This will also be followed by a free umpires technical day on 30 June 2024, for existing umpires and new umpires alike, please reply to this email to confirm your free place on the technical day.
